About
I am a Second Life content creator still labouring under the belief that this environment is the begininning of something exciting and new in culture, relationships and aesthetics. This blog is a record of my thinking around contemporary culture, the virtual world and its relation to ‘the real’ world. The thoughts here are not specific to virtual environments, but rather they are intended to present a much wider and more general cultural critique and should be of interet to anyone with an interest in culture and aesthetics. It is the deeper ambition of this blog to invest this sort of activity with a more intensive aesthetic energy. Your music has long been dead and the old modes of representation feel increasingly remote to vital experience. It’s time we began to look elsewhere for our rockstars.
